Hey Friend is raising $250,000 to support three programs providing recovery housing and family-centered care for pregnant women and mothers with children.
Funds raised through the campaign will be divided equally among the three programs—approximately $83,333 for each program when we reach our goal.

One Gift. An Entire Family Supported.
Pregnant women and mothers with children face financial and practical barriers that traditional recovery funding often does not address. Hey Friend funding will give each program flexible resources to respond to the real needs of the women and children it serves.
Stable, substance-free housing where mothers can pursue recovery without being separated from their children.
Food, clothing, diapers, childcare, household necessities, and other immediate needs.
Reliable access to treatment, court proceedings, employment, medical care, and family appointments.
Assistance for mothers working with courts, child-welfare agencies, and service providers to safely reunite with their children.
Short-term support that prevents a temporary financial crisis from disrupting recovery or destabilizing a family.
Help with housing and recovery-related expenses that insurance, public funding, and other assistance do not cover.
Your donation does more than provide a place to stay. It gives a mother time to establish lasting recovery and gives her children the safety and stability they deserve.

Meet the Programs Keeping Families Together
Each organization has its own history, community, and approach. What connects them is a belief that women should not have to choose between receiving recovery support and remaining present in their children’s lives.
Recovery Community, Inc. Women with Children’s Home
Nashville, Tennessee
Opened in October 2024, the home serves pregnant women and mothers with children, many of whom have been involved in the justice system and lack another safe place to recover with their families. During its first year, the program celebrated 12 babies born drug-free and helped eight children reunite with their mothers after living in foster care or with family caregivers. The home gives women an opportunity to pursue recovery, strengthen their parenting, and create safe and stable lives with their children.
Hope For All
Charleston, West Virginia
Hope For All operates a 44-bed recovery program where women can receive six to 12 months of structured support based on their individual needs. The program serves pregnant women, parenting mothers, and women without children, providing recovery services, nutritious meals, employment assistance, and practical life-skills development. Family reunification is a central focus, with staff coordinating with Child Protective Services, courts, parenting educators, and other providers to help mothers safely rebuild relationships with their children.
The Journey - Pathways
Ashland, Kentucky
Pathways opened The Journey on March 19, 2024, creating a 25-bed residential recovery center for pregnant women, early-parenting mothers, and other women with substance use disorders. The program provides care through individual and trauma therapy, intensive outpatient services, peer support, case management, parenting education, and supported employment. Each woman may remain in the program for one to nine months, depending on her individual needs, progress, and path toward long-term stability.
